I chickened out leaving my baby girl at the beach. If she wasn't so pitiful I would've left her. I would've hated leaving her if she was sick.

back home

We're back home for a bit until Thursday evening. Kevin is teaching summer school and I'll be keeping the girls Addy and Grace. We are going to join my family in the Outer Banks again and are excited to see my cousins. I'm enjoying my time home with Grace so far and I'm excited to see all of Addison's little milestones too. I need to get a few things for the daycare before August, but so far what I have is working out great. Grace has caught a cold and we hope that is gone before our next trip out of town.

OBX trip 1

We are enjoying our time at the beach. This year the Summers and the Minnicks joined us. The guys got to play golf, we soaked up the sun, and of course shopped! We're going to be really sad when we have to go back to reality on Friday. We are going to leave Grace with her Gran for the week until we come back to celebrate the 4th in the Outer Banks. I hope she doesn't walk her first time without me. She is now standing up from a squating position. I don't know how mom and dad will survive. Luckily I'll have Addy (my niece) to help me get through the days. My first few days with her have gone well. I'm enjoying the child care thing. Today Kevin and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. Jenny got me beautiful flowers, and my husband a nice card and I got to pick out a Pandora bracelet where I can add my family memories. My mom and step dad got us some cool beach plates to always remind us where our second home is.

Well I know its been so long since I've posted. You know how life gets away from you. Grace is 9 months now and she is crawling, pulling up and walking holding on. She is such a little joy. She looks like Kevin's brother we think, but has my temper. She is happy go lucky most of the time like Kevin, but when she doesn't get her way - I definately come out in her. I'm quitting my job and my last day is June 12th ( Friday ) I'm going to be a stay at home and take care of teacher's kids during the school year. I also am excited to be keeping my niece Addison Claire born on March 25th. Kevin is playing county league again this year for the Reds. We recently joined Harrisonburg First Church of the Brethren and I'm playing on their softball team. We have a lot going on this summer, beach trips, weddings, lake trips, etc. I'll try to post more often.
