A little scare

We are finished with baseball and Kev starts school in the morning. I'm stoked because my little rug rats at work will be going to school on the 25th and I at least have some peace and quiet for a bit while at work. Friday we had our first little scare of possible Grace coming early. I'm at 34 weeks. I started having what I thought were Braxton Hicks on Fri evening and they kept coming. About 9:30 that night I started having a shooting pain down my ride side. I thought it was another kidney stone since I've been blessed with them during pregnancy. Well it turns out I was having contractions not regular ones but strong enough for them to register. Thankfully I wasn't dialated, they gave me fluid, and pain meds and sent me on my way. In another week and 1/2 they wouldn't be concerned to stop them. So I'm hanging in there drinking PLENTY of water which means ALOT of trips to the bathroom - but everyone is doing OK :)

crib and nursery

We've been busy with putting the nursery together, a glider rocker, swing, and stroller - but we're making it. I think I started nesting because I have this urge to re-arrange everything and clean the baseboards! Here are some update pics of the nursery. This week starts RCBL playoffs - it will soon be nice to have Kevin back in the evenings. :)

1st birth class

um yeah the first birth class was a little scary. I can't believe what your body has to go through to pop out a baby! The video they show is horrible too because the ladies look like they are about to die... I can't wait until the drug lesson - just kidding - no I'm not! Next week we see the birthing suite at the hospital. I like how they refer to it as a suite like you're staying at the Holiday Inn. . . Wonder if it has a wet bar?

32 weeks and counting down

Had a Dr's appt this morning and all seems well on the home front. Blood pressure is great and I'm measuring just a week ahead. Maybe that means Sarah Grace will come week 39?! She's running out of room in there and I don't know how much more my belly can stretch! She's a kung fu fighter and gets the hiccups a lot. Tomorrow we start our birthing class. :)

30 weeks and counting down

Today I'm offically 30 weeks pregnant. All is going well. We did the 3D pics of Sarah Grace and they came out pretty good. From my newborn pics she looks like me. Even Daddy thinks so. Time has flown by.
